This is a weird thing to admit, but I haven't been following this story. I guess it's because I already KNEW that Peak Oil meant we did harder and more expensive and riskier things to keep the oil flowing. I'm not stunned that a two-mile deep well could have an environmentally disastrous spill. Cynicism for the win.
