We forgot the chai
Oh, shit. C.'s passport got sent to the wrong zipcode and they are going to have to start over and re-issue her a new one.
We're leaving the country in 11 days. She needed her new passport number for a visa application that she was supposed to have sent in by tomorrow for her August trip to China. Shit fuck damn.
Her old passport had plenty of time left on it, too: she just needed to have it reissued in case she stays a year in China and they require that it have at least 6 months' time remaining on the passport past her planned departure date.
We thought we had PLENTY of time now. (We did: her passport was reissued over two weeks ago, they just lost it after that.)
We are SO not a super power anymore. :-(
