Apparently I'm a Centrist-leaning Liberal Libertarian. What keeps me from being an outright Libertarian is the utter certainty that grasshoppers will regularly need to be saved from their own poor choices out of respect for human dignity - certainly in old age, if no time before then. I am intimately aware of how often people plunder their retirement savings for stupid reasons. There is no way we can privatize social security without having a holocaust of starving, freezing, sick elders on our hands.
