Holy shit!!

So today i underwent one of the most terrifying yet self-powering class periods. As some of you know last week a certain high profile basketball player ripped on girls sports during a 15 min speech. So this week was the girls turn to shine. After what seemed like a very short 15 min it was time to share your papers. I neglected to read and i was glad i did, because what happened afterwords was more interesting. This basketball player once again wrote about sports this time boys of course, but he put the cynical spin of girls sports in there as well. Ending the ranting with "i love girls, but their sports will never match the skill level of boys." Which as you can imagine outraged all of us females even more. No more than 1 min later jarimiah (sp ch) asked to read my paper not out loud, just to himself. As he began about half of the boys crowded around him to read it as well. After a couple ohhh's and ouch's more guys crowded around. They all looked at me and said now i realize why you didn't want to read it, your paper pointed out people like a flashing neon light. My paper continued to be passed around the room, but all the girls had my back and surprisingly the b-ball player who i pointed out in my paper was prob. the only one who didn't read it. Instead at the end of his paper saying it was all in good fun. So i happened to mention the same phrase every time someone would bring up the topic of my paper. Now even though kael never read my paper his friends wasted no time informing him on the contents, of which i saw him shrug it off and they began to talk about MTV. Strange coming from a man who 10 min prior was reading his paper talking about how us girls in the room had nothing to refute from his last paper, and yet when he came under fire he chose not to fight back either. So the reason i was terrified is b.c kael happens to be my neighbor so if anyone knows a bodyguard, please let me know. I have a feeling that this topic will forever be a touchy subject in this class, but im glad there is two sides to this story instead of just one.
