so the leo shows came and went. it was so good to see ian again though. it looks like he's setteled in to st. louis really nicely and he's not going to move back to clevelabd anytime soon. he's got a really good band, a decent fan-base, a girl, he gets paid more for the same job, he loves his house, and his roomates, and the city, and the weather... im proud of him and happy for him. even though i wish things were the same. oh well.
on friday night emily, dean, sarah c, and i all went out to cedar's in youngstown. we got lost because the lady at cedars gave me fucked up dirctions and we basically drove out of the way for a good half hour. after that we were totally lost and sarah c and i were really fucked up. dean was drunk... and kept peeing in every open bottle in my car. anyway, ian introduced me to his new girlfriend and his dad. the songs all have a new feel to them now because its a new band, and there's new parts to a lot of the songs now. the set lists were weird because the new guys don't know every song yet. they don't know in her arms or so we forget or anything. so they actually played like uhhhh lullaby. i haven't heard that song live in probably well over a year.
the grog shop show was better than the cedars show. suzifeath and the sarah were the only ones who went but fuck everyone else. fucking retarded free dozen dead roses show. i hate them because brandon left ian in st.louis the first week they relocated out there to come back here and start up a new band with tim long... and they book a show the SAME day leo comes back to cleveland for the first time. ughjioj.
i got some time to talk to ian at the grog shop. and there actually were a lot of people there. and ian was drunk, so that's always a plus. we love him when he's drunk hahaha. we told him about our plan to kill the lead singer of muse so he can take over that band. he thought it was a good idea. we also met the rest of the band and they seem super cool. it was a really happy weekend and im already looking forward to the next time i get to see them <3
