Free drinks.
Stripper poles.

What more could you want?
Enjoy the spacious penthouse and add rooms as you see fit. Gwen hasn't finished exploring the place, so whatever you choose is fine.

Have fun!

Usually New Years Eve is a time Spike would be alone at some bar gettin' death blind drunk. Tryin' to forget about Buffy and the suckiness that is life.

But he's been way to antisocial lately. So for Kara will give it a go. And who knows, maybe the party will be a fun distraction. It does have free drinks. Free drinks are very good. At the least will save allot money on the gettin' drunk.

"Why, hello, Spike." Says what is either an angel or maybe an exotic dancer, the costume makes it hard to tell. "Haven't seen you about it a while. I thought maybe you'd gotten bored of ye olde Boston and found a better place to do your thing."

Wearing a suit & neck tie just for Kara. "My don't you look very heavenly tonight. Love the Halo & Wings."

Frowns. "No as cities go. Boston sucks less than most. Although the bloody cold wintery weather makes me miss Southern California. Long as most of our friends call Beantown home. I'll be around. Now whether I'm wanted around is a different story."

"I've been storing some shit in your room." She tells him. "But don't worry! You can still make it to the bed in there!"

Sighs. "Sorry I haven't been around." Lowers head sadly. "Long as I'm not out in the cold. I'll-I'll be okay."

Look at everyone enjoyin' themeselves, and notices the strip poles that one doesn't see at many parties. Or not the ones any of his white bread human friends would throw. "This really is a great New Years Party. Uh, though aren't you a bit to young to be throwin' a party with liquor... and... and strip club poles. Not that I mind. Cause hello Vampire. We like liquor and watchin' hot birds pole dance."

Awkwardly changes the subject. "You really do make a beautiful Angel. And love the Slushie Machine. Can I have one. Or are they just for the human party goers."

"I'm far too young." She says with complete sincerity. "I'm far too young for almost half of everything I do, but no one says anything, so I just do it anyway."

Sometimes she does things just to see the point at which someone will stop her and tell her she can't. She doesn't remember that happening for a long time now.

"If I have kids they wont be allowed to do any of this! But, I am. So, I do. And, of course, you can totally have as many slushies as you like. A gazillion if you wanted to."

Is amused by her mature answer. "That's what they all say. But not usually til their like 30. Bein' a teen is a time to experiment and do crazy crap that you can't get away with later on. For most it is anyway. I kinda missed the boat on havin' fun as a kid, so am more like one now. Cause when I was your age, was a very naive choirboy. Well maybe not that saintly a mama's boy. But my mum would've killed me for being at such a wild party as this ( ... )

"I'm sure it's completely inappropriate." She tells him. "But, once again, no one cares. Sometimes I wish Angel would work one of those Wolfram and Hart life wipes on me."

Spike really doesn't know what he can say to make things better. He wishes he could take away all her pain and heartache. Yet since can't even fix his own wreck of a unlife. Can only try to offer whatever kind words he can think of. "Allot of people care about you. I care about you. Though guess everyone needs to do a better job showin' it ( ... )

"I know people care about me. I never said they didn't."

She's a bit defensive. You can't ever be disatisfied without people going all preachy on you and telling you why you shouldn't be.

"And I am grateful. I'm freaking grateful. Okay?"

Isn't sure how he expected her to respond, but was hoping for less anger and more sympathy. Guess he needs to work on the moral supportive speeches. "You don't sound grateful about anything. Sound more like your angry. And you don't have to bite my head off. I'm only tryin' to be a friend."

Sighs sadly. "I'm sorry. I never said I thought you didn't think that people didn't care about you. Uh, or however you soddin' say that. Do you have to take every bloody thing I say negatively. I just said to remember that people do care about you. That I care about you. Though only God knows why, when you make me feel like crap and push me away everytime I try to be a friend to you."
