puppy
I got my very own puppy yesterday, well, I'm sharing it with Jon of course but the point is that I finally have one. It's an adorable beagle baby and shes so adorable and smart. Even though I got her yesterday I forgot to thank her for coming to me. I was frustrated with her today because she was doing so well yesterday for the first time of trying to be potty trained, she did very well but today she seemed to have forgotten all of it. so i sat her down on one of the pads and sat across from her and she kept trying to leave and come towards me but I wouldn't let her but than I thanked her and told her that she was a gift from god and that all I would like her to do for now is pee on the mat and she looked at me, walked away to her water bowl and took a drink, came back and peed on the mat staring at me and than came over and licked me...i was astounded and proud of her so I gave her a treat. it was like she had understood me and listened, and i thought maybe it was just a lucky shot but a little later she went directly in the middle of the mat again instead of off to the side like she had been doing but the point is that she listened and I hope she'll keep it up. well my foots asleep now and so is my puppy which is why i am able to type this, so I gots to go, see ya and thank you again puppy. She came to me : 1-27-07.. just for the records
