Writer's Block: Wardrobe Malfunction

May 06, 2009 11:28

There isn't a day when I don't experience some permanent and disgusting damage to my jeans, top or boots - or end up bathed in a coat of ichor.

Some days are worse than others.

It's true, ichor is stinky. You had green globs in the back of your hairdo too. Not sure if Ianto was able to get them all out with that blotted tea towel?

I danced with you later that night even though you still smelled like dead Nostrovite.

That's the kind of awesome BFF I am!

I still smelled after that? :o(

Good thing nobody (but you) really remembers that.

OH YEAH you could smell it. All the blotting in the world doesn't cover up Nostrovite.

It's okay though because you guys can't be expected to have the same super-senses that I have. That's how I was able to tell that Tosh's lesbian blonde was actually a lesbian alien!

That whole incident was weird, really. Tosh mentioned later she'd tried to read your mind and it was shut down tight.

You can't hear our thoughts, can you, Jack?

What am I thinking at you? *thinks*

GWEN NOT SO LOUD.

Some of us have had psychic training in our previous jobs, you know!

What?

Oh God, not you too.

Oh, hullo, you must be Gwen. You're certainly a nice lady.

Oooooh, that thought! My goodness. Are all the women in Cardiff like you? Well, except my Martha. But she's special. The Hath revere her, did you know that?

Most women in Cardiff are not very much like me, Jenny.

Well, they do have similar accents, shop for tops at Top Shop (appropriate name!) and enjoy a pint down the local.

Alien-chasing, (responsible) yet frequent use of firearms and weddings which turn out to be complete disasters? Not so much.

Shopping for tops sounds like fun! I love to shop, but I'm usually shopping for updated plasma drives and ammunition and sometimes for a new weapon in case anything exciting turns dangerous. Would you take me shopping? When you're not chasing aliens and having disastrous weddings, of course.

Oooh! Shopping! Absolutely!

I would be happy to!

(But if you're shopping for ammunition/weapons, I'm certain Jack would like to tag along.)

I would love to take him with me but my shuttle was built for one. Except maybe it could fit one pilot and a puppy. But not Theresa. He seems the perfect Torchwood dog. But I would be happy to bring him some ammunition if he needs it next time I come visit. If I ever can. It's so difficult to work around the timelines in Cardiff. They're all wibbly wobbly.

I think we should go shopping this evening. And then have chips with dinner. I love chips. They're so brilliant. And ice cream, too. I'm so glad Ianto got me some. He's so nice, it's obvious why Captain Harkness likes him.

You know, there are a lot of other delicious Earth foods you might want to try. Chips are delicious, but despite what you may hear from some people, it isn't healthy for Earth people to eat them every day.

We'll have to see about shopping tonight. Tomorrow might be better. We have Torchwood business to attend to tonight, and unfortunately we can't bring you with. Perhaps Gwen will introduce you to her husband, Rhys, and you can spend the evening with him.

But I can help. I'm great with other species. We almost always get on brilliantly. Well, once in a while not so brilliantly. Well, to be honest, once in a while it becomes a shouting match. But I'm still happy to help wherever I can.

I could stay in the Hub here and play with Myfanwy. She seems very friendly. She could use some outdoor time, don't you think? I could ride her, couldn't I? I'm sure I could. She's been quite nice to me. I'm sure she'll let me.

It would be lovely to meet Rhys, too. Gwen speaks of him so lovingly. (It reminds me of how you sometimes talk about my dad, although it's obviously not the same situation, now, is it?)

I know you can't read but this sign right here says "STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MYFANWY, BLOND CLONE CHICK!"

So STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MYFANWY.

Isn't tonight pizza at Flat Holm? I wouldn't want to miss that; they expect us. But then again, Jenny would probably want to come along, and I don't know if that would be a good idea.
