My First Car
Well, it's only taken me 8 years of having my licence but I have finally bought myself a car. Nothing special but it was going cheap as a workmate is moving to Canadia on Monday.
So, its a Red, two door, Honda Accord hatchback, Automatic, Electric Windows, Pop Up headlights, clean interior. She was a steal :)
All paid for, now I just need to do the QLD Transport thing tomorrow with the transfer paperwork, renewing my licence and then I can pick her up and she will be officially all mine!
You know what this means?
All those lifts you people have given me over the years, all those drop in visits... feel free to cash in :P It also means I'm more likely to randomly drop in on you locals :P
This, of course, means I've had to forfeit my trip to Sydney this weekend, and my trip to Melbourne next month. But that's ok, I am finally going to own a car :D
So I need some ideas about names and such.
Also, my birthday is coming up once more. Try to keep September 15th free, as I plan to have my birthday party then :P
If you're in need of gift ideas, I don't have a ticket to Muse yet, car accessories are always good, money / "supplies" / booze always appreciated... ooh or a bulb machine since I don't own one! :)
