I've been having dizzy spells lately. This can't be good.
So that I remember next time someone asks, and because I'm bored: a list of a few favoured musicians in a strange semblance of order recognisable only to my particular form of warped organization.

And now for Break Forth stuff.
Friday night - Graham Kendrick for worship. Wasn't bad, and Brits are awesome, but I prefer to know the songs. Ken Davis spoke, was absolutely hilarious. Went to Chuck Neighbor's comedy afterward, but after Davis, it wasn't as amusing.
Saturday - morning worship was Carried Away, speaker was Bruce Wilkinson. Neither was very pleasant, and the latter left me miserable for half the day. Ken Davis "Living and Laughing" was the first workship, was excellent and hilarious. Second workshop, switched to his communication session. Wasn't as funny, but good. Third workship was Phil Keaggy's cafe. The man is amazing. I'm fortunate I've never picked up the guitar: at that point I would have been ready to burn it with an "I am not worthy!". It appears that he's a show-off, but not because he likes attention or wants to promote his superiority; it's like a little kid, in a way. And he's hilariously laid-back.
In the evening, Arlen Salte got up and, in a sense, apologized for Wilkinson's message, which was really nice, but very hard for him. Worship was Twila Paris, and she was wonderful. I have immense respect for those who lead from the piano, and she was very talented, at that. The speaker was K.P. Johannen, who I appreciated very much last year. This year he was gentler, and wonderful. At one point he was on his knees weeping for the people in the conference. He's a good man.
Panic Squad ended the night amazingly. Improv comedy. Laughed my guts out again. Talk about a dream job. XP
Sunday - morning workshop was Michael Card's cafe. He's an excellent guitarist (although no one matches Keaggy), pianist, and singer. It was... wonderful, simply put. About worship through lamentation. The second session was worship with some ladies' group, not particularly good, and Patsy Clairmont speaking. She was funny enough, but not particularly good, to my mind.
The final service was worship with Tim Hughes, and Bill-somebody spoke. Worship was very good, though I started falling asleep towards the end. Bill-whoever was all right, but not pertinent to me.
Couple hours later, there was more Tim Hughes, which was good. Then there was a Rebecca St. James concert, which was amazing. I couldn't list the songs she sang if I tried, but "God Help Me" started it off, and was great. She also sang "Lion" from the Narnia-inspired soundtrack, and a friend of hers sang wonderfully, if briefly. Rebecca St. James is an excellent artist, for more reasons than just her music.
Thus endeth Break Forth.
Notes:
We saw far, far too many people my father knows, and a few relatives in there. I was amused by the fact that when Tim Hughes sang, we were so far away that we needed screens to see him. And then twenty minutes later, I was three steps down from him on the escalator. Nathaniel got to talk to Phil Keaggy, lucky dog. Ehh, not so lucky, I suppose, considering he had the twenty-four-hour flu over Saturday. Not fun. On a similar note, though, I'm also amused by my multiple connections to "Christian celebrities" (in quotes because it always sounds so oxymoronic), mostly through my father.
Monday - Nothing particularly interesting. I was dragged to the mall, and my mother and her friend had fun playing dress up with me, so I came away with two new shirts. And I got a Baskin Robbins milkshake, heaven on earth. Had supper with relatives and watched a Ken Davis DVD. Was all right
Tuesday - came home. Was a long drive, really. Nothing interesting.
