ooo... subcultural theories (kill me)
Ah, the wonder that is Sociology revision :s Please somebody help me, if I read anymore about Functionalist subcultural theories I think I may explode!! Heh, so anyway, what's up besides revision? Well not much really, I'm just sitting here watching the rain out of my window and thinking about making some coffee *drools*
It's been a fairly interesting few weeks since I last updated, been spending lots of time with Marty, naturally. We did lots of work in my garden, and finally it looks likes, well it looks like a garden!! It has plants and flowers and everything!! We even landscaped it and created a little patio area (which I have to say looks very impressive!) We're going to paint my room this weekend, three years of having me as its occupant has left it in need of a revamp, so before I move out I decided I'd have it painted so that there's one less job for my Dad to do when he sells up. Talking of Marty, he cut my hair the other week and did a very good job of it to! Though some of you (and you know who you are) will not be happy to hear that I no longer I have any facial hair, I know it's terrible, absolutely outrageous but I haven't been clean shaven for about 5 years now and I fancied a change, I doubt it'll last though, I'll get bored of having to shave so much and just grow in full on mutton chops!
I went out with Laura the other week to celebrate her Birthday. We went down to Hartlepool and sat in various beer gardens, drinking coffee no less (we're good like that) and we had a long indepth discussion about penises before we headbutted one another and headed back to my house where we sat and ate biscuits and watched 101 Reykjavik (a bizarre Icelandic flick about this bloke who gets his Mother's lesbian lover pregnant) all in all it was a great night!
Erm... anything else to report on... oh yeah, it looks like my sister is going to have a baby boy come October, poor kid, they're going to name him Rhys Lewis Lawton (only I think they're using Reese I'm not sure) In typical Edwards fashion nobody really approves but of course nobody is saying anything *sigh*
Looks like Marty and I may be going to Slovakia for New Year, if my friend Barbora says she's willing to show us about, if not we'll probably end up in Austria, either place is good for me, though it would be nice to go back to Slovakia, I loved it there. And yes, I think that may be about it for this entry, not really much more that's for me to write about to write about (if that makes any sense?) Bye for now :)
