Problem solved! :D
Tumblr won't let me in! *cries* I can enter email, password, and username just fine and when I hit "enter" I get to a page where it says "how old are you" where I have to accept the terms of use by checking a box. Once I've checked the box and hit "enter" again, nothing happens, though - I just keep staring at that same page for ages.
After trying several times, I googled "can't register on Tumblr" which taught me that lots of people using Firefox (like I do) seem to have problems logging in/registering on Tumblr. Unfortunately, all the suggested solutions don't work for me. :(
Here's what I tried:
- clearing my cache, deleting internet history (all the usual stuff - I do that every evening, anyway)
- restarting Firefox
- hitting F5
- using another browser, namely:
Internet Explorer (same problem)
Google Chrome (same problem)
Opera (wouldn't let me on Tumblr at all because of problems with security certificates?!)
I really don't know what else to do. If anyone can think of something, please let me know!
Right now, I'm hoping this is perhaps some kind of weird glitch that will miraculously vanish by tomorrow or so... :P It's so annoying. I spent yesterday evening browsing around on Tumblr and after seeing all the H50 goodness there I was really looking forward to registering today! *headdesk*
EDIT: Just found the Tumblr support center and tried to send them an email. You know what happened? I got a nice popup dialogue box telling me Tumblr is "experiencing technical problems and I should try again later". O.o If it weren't so frustrating, it would be almost funny by now.
