Squee Week: Day Six - H50 Episode 2x10
Okay, so I had the idea to dedicate Day Six entirely to 2x10, "Ki'ilua", because, if there's one thing about H50 that really makes me squee, it's this episode and everything it stands for. :) I've never seen a more wonderful eppy about Team and friendship in any series I've ever watched!
Originally, I wanted to post a wonderful 2x10 vid I had found on YouTube, but obviously the entire account doesn't exist anymore. So I decided to do a picspam instead... which would have been a nice idea if I had been able to find more than 6 episode-related pics after searching the internet for more than an hour (I'm probably doing something wrong - it can't be that difficult?!). :P So I headed over to YouTube again and, after looking through 5 pages of 2x10 promo, fortunately managed to find another great fanvid and save both my sanity and my daily squee! :D
Which means you'll get a vid, a couple of pics, and a fic rec from me today. What really made my day is that the new vid I found is titled "Save Our Steve"! How perfect is that? :D

I always think Steve looks so gorgeous with that beautiful windjammer behind him - very symbolic and besides, navy blue really suits him. ;-)
That scene between Steve and Jenna in that bunker always breaks my heart.

Another scene that breaks my heart, but in a really, really good way! I LOVE THAT SCENE SO MUCH! I wish I had a pic of that look on Steve's face when he sees Danny... *happy sigh*

Say hello to good old Tangerine! This was the only pic I could find from the helicopter scene, so it'll have to do. Just imagine Steve's smile and the wonderful soundtrack playing in the background. :)
I'll close this day with a fic rec, even though it's quite likely everyone on my f-list has read this wonderful story by now. It's a coda to 2x10 and it is absolutely amazing:

I love this story so much, because it focuses on healing, and team, and it's just absolutely what I needed after watching this episode. I wanted to see Steve heal, and his Team take care of him, and watch all the little steps on the way. Well, this story has it all and more.
