I'm now a somebody in skating-land
Today I took my first level test with USFSA (adult pre-bronze level) and passed fairly easily, so now I can compete in official competitions because I have a ranking. I feel non-anonymous (if barely). Yea!
Also, I have almond milk hot chocolate to thaw out with (because ice rinks are really freezing cold when you have to wear a silly little skating dress and tights- no sweats allowed in tests!) Almond milk hot chocolate is good.
