Luck
My baseball league held it's awards dinner tonight, along with it's fund-raising raffle. Now, we've sold about 300 tickets for this raffle, 10 of which were bought by my family. A large and expensive restaurant in the area donated a couple of $25 gift certificates to the auction. My mom won the first one. A few items later, they drew for the winner of the second one, and lo and behold, my dad won it. Strange luck, eh? And not only did my parents win twice, a player in our league won three times. Out of three hundred tickets!
I really hope my parents decide to treat the person who sold them those tickets, though. I've never been to said really expensive restaurant, and I'm the foodie in the family.
In other news, JOY!!! After three years, I get my braces off tomorrow morning! Finally, I will be able to talk without a lisp (or, as I say it, lithp) again.
