P.S. I love you

I just came home from the cinema. I went with my grandmother to see "P.S. I love you"

First, if you've read the book just forget all about it as soon as you enter the cinema. When they say "based on" that's what they mean. The movie doesn't follow the book's storyline but it captures the idea.
What else can I say about it? It has Ireland. It has James Marsters. It has Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
With a guitare.
And without a towel.

Yes, that means exactly what you think it means. *g*

I'm probably one of the few women who didn't go to see the movie because of Gerard Butler but I have to say that he did an amazing job. Just wow.
Hilary Swank on the other hand was a little annoying sometimes. But that might have been the dubbing.

Can I see the OV? Please?

To be honest, I didn't expect too much. I was afraid they'd turn it into some average American dramatic comedy love story mix. But they didn't, even though it had quite some elements of those movies. It had a lot of really funny scenes and some very beautiful scenes about memories and the feeling that someone is still with you even if he's not. I think they captured that very well.
I especially loved the memory of the day Holly and Gerry met for the first time and the ending.

7 out of 10 letters for the dubbed version.

You can still ask me about my fandoms at the Fandom Meme.
