The end ... and new plans

Having only 1 and 1/2 days left, we had to get used to the thought of leaving Scotland. Not a pleasurable thing to do and only tolerable because of an idea to come back very soon.
My birthday (a special one) is coming up and wouldn't it be brilliant to celebrate it with our friends on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond? Yes, it is brilliant and we'll do just that!
But back in Glasgow we still had one full day to go see the Pollock Country Park and the Burrell Collection.

Back in town we went to the Glasgow Women's Library. Although they're in the middle of moving, a nice librarian offered us tea and showed us around. When we come back in November they will be at their new location at Landressy St and of course we'll visit again.

The next morning we're going for a walk in the rain. University and Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum distract us for a few hours before the Citylink bus leaves with us and our luggage for Edinburgh.
The night is very short, 4 a.m. we have to walk the short distance to the airport for the last time.
Farewell, Scotland - we'll be back in a blink of an eye.
