SEE THE BLACK SUN RISE
I'm quite excited to fully unveil my new project, GVNGEIST. For some time I have been frustrated with certain (mostly self imposed) limitations. I am hoping this project will get things flowing again.
I am trying out a new economic model, namely making everything free (with an optional donation). I am also pushing for a much more "open source" approach. I will be releasing acapella versions of all tracks and fully endorsing non commercial sampling and remixing. I am also planning on releasing beats and other material for other artists to appropriate.
I'm not turning my back on the album form, but I haven't been in that mode for a while. I am currently more interested in the power of an individual song and will be releasing tracks in a serialized fashion (with email/feed subscriptions available).
