If I could afford it I'd totally get a black MacBook and swap out the stupid glossy screen for a matte one. Oh wait, someone already did that.
I'm not sure if this metaphor has been used before, but I often think of computing in terms of politics: Microsoft is like the Republican party, Apple is Democratic and Linux is the Green party. Ideally I'd go with the Green party, but you know they'll never win.
Oh, today we went to the Apple store and I actually overheard a woman say "riddle me this" to a sales associate, completely nonchalant. Seriously, who can say shit like that with a straight face? Amazing.
