long time coming
Whew! It's been a while. I think I have either lost interest in this thing, or have just not found the time to write. Anyway here's a summary of eventful happenings:
Bought tires for both cars (Jill's and mine) about 5 weeks ago. All I gotta say is that they are f*cking expensive!
Red sox made it to the wild card, but lost miserably in the first round of the finals. Boo.
Took the PE exam on October 28 after 2 months of intense studying. I'm confident I did well, but won't know until February! Fingers crossed!
Dad was in a car accident last week (11/1/05). Apparently, he blacked out behind the wheel, careened across three lanes of traffic and headed into the woods about 50 feet. Amazingly, he is completely unharmed (Thank God). However, MA state law forbids anyone who has an accident due to unidentifiable medical reasons (they still don't know why he blacked out) to drive for 6 months. It's inconvenient for my Mom and Dad, but probably for the best. God was watching over him last week, for sure and all of us are especially thankful.
Took a trip up tp Maine to see the houses my parents are building. The back house is about 70% complete (just interior work, siding and heat to go) The front house is just a foundation now. They are hoping to having it all finished by next summer. It's gonna be awesome.
Saw the whole family last weekend. It's so refreshing to see everyone after being a hermit all summer. Everyone is doing well, despite circumstances mentioned above.
