Summer Entry #5 - Loose cannon: Histrionics and narcisstic ballistics

Jun 17, 2010 20:48

(Title means nothing by the way) I graduated today! (Well, I felt more excited when exams were over.) I mainly remember my hat kept didn't fit right on my head... I need a haircut. It was interesting to see people's families.

The plan is to go to University of Toronto at Scarborough, at least for first year. No career related goals yet.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll be leaving for Europe.
I believe we'll first visit my aunt's family who lives near Vienna, then to my aunt in Belgium, then Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany (I don't know which order) and then Paris.

I was going to rant and also talk about my second time in a restaurant this year but I now think I don't like doing either so instead I'll say that photographs don't always catch a person's charm, that vuvuzelas sound alright alone but become annoying noise when everyone plays it together (or so I hear), and I'll do something more fun...

GOOGLE MAPS!
There's no Toronto to Vienna on Google maps -___- or to Hong Kong either. I ended trying Melbourne though and it worked strangely enough.

What it bascially tells you to do...
- go down the the US and pass through Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho to Washington, and west towards Seattle
- kayak across the Pacific Ocean and to Hawaii (Kamehameha Hwy?), and drive west
- kayak to Ibaraki prefecture in Japan (lots of toll roads here) and drive west into Nagasaki, then take a ferry (reasonable...) to some Japanese island
- kayak south to Darwin, passing in between Indonesia and New Guinea
- drive to Melbourne!
