[IC] 006- It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas [Video/Goldenrod Action]
[It's clear from the dull, artificial lighting and the stacks of shelves towering over and behind Gumshoe that he's in the store room of some shop in the department store. He looks tired, but generally happy.]
Hey everyone! I should have said something earlier, but I made it to Goldenrod already! Though I'm still not sure how I got here so fast, or why I'm missing three days.
You know, it took a while, but I think I'm finally starting to fit into this place. I'm working as a stock clerk right now to earn some extra cash for Christmas. It's not the greatest job (er, don't tell my boss I said that), but I'm actually getting more money here than I ever was working as a detective back home! [He frowns.] Though I still miss detecting.
Uh, anyway, I'm working weekdays at this place for the rest of the month, but I'll have the weekends off. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, too, if I play my cards right. I've already run into a few of you guys here but if I haven't seen you yet feel free to drop by and say "Hi!" If I'm not at my hotel room then I'm probably working at the department store. Just... please try to catch me on my lunch break. I don't want to get fired.
[There's a distant mumbling off-screen directed at Gumshoe. He starts and shoots an apologetic glance at his audience.]
Whoops. Sorry; break's over. [He quickly shuts the pokégear closed and off.]
