Baby K's birthday is this week end. She's having a friends' party so we took her out last Friday night to celebrate. We took her to
Full Bunny Contact at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center. It was a lot of fun. Sort of like an Easter themed carnival for adults. There was an egg putting game, a basketball game against a rabbit, a fortune teller, a mechanical bull made over like a bunny (complete with giant googlie eyes). It was all creepy bunnies with the exception of the "Chicken Scratch" game with "The Kung Pow Chicken" which was basically tic-tac-toe in a sad pit against someone in a chicken suit. I don't know why but this was really amusing.
There was also a jousting thing ala American Galdiators. You could battle a bunny or another person. I fought Baby K. It totally winded me. LOL There was a "Shoot the Peep" where you shot a poor guy dressed as a chicken with a paint ball rifle.
The grand finale was a cage match egg hunt against 2 bunnies. You had to collect eggs but the bunnies could knock them out of your hands or your basket. It was stupid but very fun.
It was organized by the same guy who does
Nightmare NYC.
Saturday, we had the egg hunt as always. It was a gorgeous day and a lovely tradition. We've had one every year since I was 2 years old! Sunday, Dom and I saw "
Fast and Furious 7" which was AWESOME. After the movie we went to Seaside and met my aunts and cousin and her family. They go down every year to get discount tickets for the rides for the summer.
Work is, well, work. I don't like it but they pay me.
Dom brought me the best surprise today! They are Crocs designed by Burgerman. I'll post a picture later. They are super fun. :-)
