It has been a spendy week or so. The local Habitat for Humanity ReStore posted these dishes on facebook. They're enamel wear and just hit some sweet spot for me. Once the sheet rocking is done (hopefully in the next month) I'll have a dinning room! Previously I had my grandmother's china but I gave that to my sister when I moved in to the house and demoed the kitchen. Those were pink roses with gold so these are the opposite end of the spectrum. LOL

The dishes didn't come with bowls so I picked up a few that sort of go though they look a little "eye of Sauron" in some lights.

My vacuum died so I also got a new vacuum. It is sort of frightening how exciting that is. I guess this is middle age. ;-P

The Ugly Dolls frame in the background I got on sale from a local shop called Shelter Home. Great place and great guys. The frame is waiting for me to get a picture printed. Just another To DO. ;-)

And that was more shopping than I've posted ever I think.

Work is work. It continues a little less dramatically than the previous few weeks.

We're seeing The Enchanted Island on Saturday. I'm really excited. Placido Domingo is singing! Sunday, Dom and I are doing face painting with at my cousin's son's birthday (an Italian story lol). We need to practice some more. It is totally harder than you think - like a medium. I struggle with getting the paint to the proper consistency.

OK, time to see if my banana bread has cooked enough to cut up for lunches.
