I'm making another press to get rid of things I don't need. I made a pretty clean seep except in the studio. There I have a shocking amount of "stuff". For example, our little friend the dwarf turn pirate throw pillow.
I made a dwarf for the "Snow White" room when Halloween and a Half was "Fairy Tails" then he morphed in to a pirate for "regular Halloween" a year or so later. His stuffing was donated to another project at some point. LOL Why do I still have him?
I think I have a lot of this stuff because in some weird way I am terrified I won't make anything as good again. Not that he is so fantastic but it is this weird fear. It is like proof I was creative at some point.
there is also a lot of random things I found interesting - rusted bolts, shells, bits of this and that. I honed that down to one shelf (This is WAY more exciting an accomplishment than you would think).
I hoard photographs the same way. "Look, I did/went someplace interesting. I'm interesting!".
Allegedly, seeing the pattern helps you break it. We'll see. LOL
The bonus motivator is getting the studio neat enough so I can make the Christmas card tomorrow without my head exploding over the mess. ;-)
