WARNING IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE ENTRY BEFORE THIS, READ IT NOW!
So, we left off as the threesome began on their epic journey. They walked around the mall, skipping and laughing. Not so much...I had already been through my "i hate the world stage" and natasha was just beginning hers. Trenna was her old perky self, and it made the night fairly interesting. We walked through the mall parking lot, out to frye, and started down frye. We were at this point, completely soaked to the bone. Except trenna, who had an umbrella. As we walkde across the bridge we wondered why we were undertaking such a feat.
We pushed on, finally taking a back road that curved off from frye, we hoped it would shorten our trek. As we walked along, me being the genius that i am, i walked away from tash, in between her and trenna. She was on the phone and it seemed logical at the time. As we already know from the beginning of the story, my logic is really dumb sometimes. It is applicable to this time. I made Tash sad, but luckily i realized i was being stupid and i walked holding her hand the rest of the night, eventually to the point where niether of us could actually FEEL the others hand, but we knew it was there. Also, we kissed in the rain, i have always wanted to do that. It was great!
When we were nearing dobson and pecos, we starting calling people, we were tired of walking and tired of being cold. Itwas then that we realized...ALL OF OUR FRIENDS ARE AT THE SCHOOL DANCE! So we got a hold of Ray, thankfully, he saved our butts! He was on cooper and the freeway and soon we would be safe at home. But wait. Cooper and the freeway, as we realized after 15 minutes of sitting in the cold rain, BOTH GO IN THE SAME DIRECTION! He was on STAPLEY AND THE 60! That was a solid 20 minutes away. We started walking again, walking and calling.
Brittany was passed out at home. Danny didnt have his car. My parents were sleeping. Jeff was in flaggstaff. Tom can't drive. Ashley lives in glendale. This is how the list went. Everyone was gone. EVERYONE. So we walked. Trenna called her brother, and he was at a friends house. Trenna had an interesting idea. So she asked to talk to Brennan's friends brother, who is our age. Trenna coaxes this boy into giving us a ride. So he prepares to leave. We keep walking.
I found some cool balloons on the way, BIG ones. They were kinda flat and not floating all the way, but i broke them off and carried them to give them to the boy when he saved us. We got to a part where it says "road flooded" and we kept walking, we were already soaked right? Well when it says that, it means DONT GO THROUGH HERE. The mud started to eat us, we were being sucked in to the watery muddy mass. And tehre was a CAR COMING! We screamed, and btw this entire time i was on the phone with ray explaining where we were. We ran as fast as we could drenched in water and in sandals, we made it to the other ride and caught our breath. The car pulled over, and stopped where we had been standing. It was Ray. He found us. We walked over and talked to him, but we had to wait for the boy to come, because he was on his way. While we waited in the freezing cold we all considered wetting ourselves for warmth but decided against it. We were almost done. And then, to cap off the night. While we had been walking, my balloons started to reinflate...something with heat and cold and whatever. But they were floating again, i was happy. Then the string broke, and my perfect balloons flew away. I was crushed.
The boy came, and we all got home unscathed. Tash might have athletes footfrom the water in her socks. My wrist and shoulder were sore beyond belief, something about freezing and reheating. And trenna was perky trenna! The trek had ended. But how did it begin?
Well ladies and gentlemen, my car would not start because my key was broken. There is a chip in the key that starts the car, it fell out in my long hard process of looking for the car. So, I formulated a conclusion on all of this.
Chivalry is dumb, not because girls dont deserve it but because boys are not capable of taking care of themselves. The chip fell out of the key in my long hard search for the car in the parking lot. I let the girls stay in the mall so they wouldnt get wet, i was going to come back and pick them up. If trenna and tash had come with me, their more intelligent female minds would have recognized that i was parked in another lot, we would have quickly gotten to my car, and we would have had the chip in the key, and we would have been on our way. Boys are not capable of catering to girls, we are not smart enough. Dont get me wrong, I will continue to open doors and spoil my female friends and mother and sisters, but i will have to try to attain thier level of intelligence first, before i go out on my own.
THE END
