I don't think I have mentioned this here, because I usually post very brief things to my Twitter instead of LJ, but several
weeks ago I realized that our raccoon lawn ornament went missing. My mom bought it for us and he had been out
front for over two years. It was common for small children to pick him up, but no one had ever made off with him before.
It's also possible someone who was intoxicated took him, or someone next door, since we don't have the best
neighbor relationship. I don't expect to ever get him back. I put a note outside to please return him, just in case, and
I've been so surprised by how many people have noticed the note.
Even a nice lady from further down the street rang the bell to ask if he had been returned yet.
(Yoshi was helping keep the note down with his feets) :P
