[ Low whistle. ] Huh. Guessing the range on something like that would be pretty great, right?

[Ari can be seen going to her window and craning her neck out to look upwards at the roof of Iki House. There's no way in hell she's going up there, but the subject of scientific inquiry is too much to resist. She then comes back to her fansuwoth and adjusts her position before speaking.]

I should be able to work with you on a design. It's a simple enough device to build, so long as one knows the angles for refraction. If you'd like to come down and talk plans...

[She walks back to the window, fansuwoth in hand, and waves out the window with her free right hand.]

[ There's a pause as he leans away from the fansuwoth and looks down at the hand waving out the window, but he soon returns, giving the woman on the other end of the feed a calculating look. He's tempted, oh yes. But before that... ]

[Ari keeps the expression on her face pleasantly neutral, though she does tilt her head to the side as if she's about to ask a question.]

[ He merely shrugs, nonchalant and indifferent. ]

She mentioned you were in Iki when I brought it up. So, you really wanna help build a telescope, huh?

[The day and Mr. Nagi did not allow for the free time to spend in the library or besides his brother as he would have liked, but chores and lessons were easy enough tasks to complete. He returns to his room, well after Ed has made his broadcast. It's late enough he doesn't bother to even use the fansuwoth to contact Ed and he heads back to room under the assumption that he's already there

[ As the screen fills with a view of Al's pie-filled mouth (aww, look at how those cheeks stick out), crumbs and all, a slight smile forms on Ed's lips and he pulls a knee to his chest to set the fansuwoth on. With the limited space atop Iki, this makes it a bit easier and there's also the bonus of seeing the way Al speaks with his mouth full. ]

[He can not help it, damn the pie for being so delicious. He swallows and has to actually resist eating another mouthful.]

[He grins and leans forward a bit to try and get a better idea of where Ed is based off the background. All he can really see though is Ed's limbs and that it is a bit dark. Taking another bite he asks...]
