It feels a bit wrong to butt into the conversation (certainly when he would feel angry if someone did the same to him and his brother) because that level of closeness is rarely something shared between siblings and clearly it's important. But the similarities are hard to deny and he can't help but think they should be told what's occurred. Even if there's no way to do anything about it now.

It's the last few comments that really strike him though. You should hate me.... That same guilt he's felt every day since that night six years ago. And here he'd thought he'd be the only one to ever tell his own brother something like that.

[Well... this is awkward. Awkward and rather sweet, actually. She can't help but feel a bit of guilt as she attempts to gain their attention because, really, it's a conversation between two brothers. [A pause. Even though it was next to impossible for twins to occur in the area and around the people he grew up with, given the hunter curse, he's not entirely used to being asked something like that. At least not in the past five or so years.

He contemplates how it is with Ichiru, here, versus having been without him (again...), for a year now, at home. Although he's accepted the death and what happened, the thought of it all still aches.]

Like like having a part of yourself as a companion... Someone you're never without. [Particularly as an identical twin, even if looks are honestly all they have in common.]
