[Disheveled, still in her night gown. Her long, mahogany hair is untamed, yet to have even been brushed. It's the middle of the night, yet she seems wide awake, if disorientated. Two small hands gripping the device she lifts it up close to her face, staring into it anxiously.
Please. Someone please be up.
Clear, brown eyes focused , she speaks

I really dislike it...
Brow creasing she frowns, unhappily. She's bias, maybe, she realizes. Pain and suffering has only been attached to the few instances she's seen the results of such actions. Can it be said for those girls so attached to Shirabuki, though? A slight shake of her head. Even still, the entire practice leaves a sour feeling in her mouth. In the end there isn't anything she can do, particularly if both parties are willing. Even though she has the power, she doesn't have the right or authority.
Still...that woman Her words to the president still ring clear in her ears.]
I don't trust her.
[Words without an explanation, but she doesn't feel the need to expand further, either. Kaname's memories still flow warm through her, as though seen yesterday. It's true that she may not have seen all of his memories, but she can't shake the feeling that even a hint of that party in which Ouri-dono lost his life would have surfaced. But what is Sara-san's objective, then...? Excluding Kaname, the only other purebloods were herself, and Sara...
Brows knit, she relents into a small sigh. Right now there isn't anything she can do about the situation while here. It's just frustrating, nevertheless.
Peeking back up toward the device from beneath long lashes, a smile tugs the corners of her lips. At least there is one thing at home right now that she doesn't seem to mind.]
We've seen a little more of each other, of late.
[To her, that fact is important. Thoughts and feelings from home are fresh, and their relationship is entirely different. Still the grin she wears widens and she looks at him with a fair bit of amusement.]
You...are really rather forceful, aren't you.

So, the shift is welcome. ...though it leaves him curious (and perhaps a touch confused).
What does that smile mean this time? Of course, it does make sense if they're around each other more, given the situation at the academy, but...]
What are you getting at, Yuuki...
[Blinks, eying her and that grin. ]

Mm, you just...went out of your way to try and help me. It's just strange to see the difference between here and there.

That said, however, what could it have been? Obviously helping her out isn't new for him, but still, they had changed in that time that passed.
While he does have a bit of an idea, in a way, it does feel a little far-fetched... as ironic as that might be, considering their life here. With such a bright and delighted attitude that she's giving him, though, it can't be anything too bad. ...Right?
His lips quirk up at one corner, a little amused. Gaze lowering a bit, a glint of violet seen through thick lashes in an almost melancholy expression.]
Yeah. It is...
It obviously wasn't anything too difficult, though, right? Judging by how you're acting... What'd you do this time?

[What did I do, he says... She slumps over. Of all his first reactions. Of course something would have to happen in order for her to need his help to begin with, but the way he says it, even with amusement....
Yet, she can't escape the truth, can she? In the end she hadn't been in good shape, even though all along she'd been trying to tell herself she could manage, somehow. Glancing back up, her expression turns vaguely sheepish.]
I was thirsty.
[Glancing at the tablets sitting in the corner of her room on her vanity, her mouth twists, nose wrinkling. The feeling she has after taking them, and the sudden onslaught of thousands of presences that attacks for just a few moments is something she doesn't know that she can ever grow used to.]
The tables are...just a lot like a medicine. I never knew that. Until recently, I never tasted one before. Yet even as I continued to take more it felt more like...treating the symptoms so very temporarily instead of the problem itself. [She shakes her head.] I suppose that makes sense, it isn't as though it's a cure to the situation, or anything.
[She gives a small laugh, attempting to shake off the sudden seriousness of the situation, though if she's honest it's not all play time and giggles.]
You hauled and carted me off into the woods near the school. And then threw me into a tree. [What did I do...? Isn't it, in part, the opposite?] You offered me your blood. [The most precious of things.] I really, never... even if it's because we're both working toward the same goal, ultimately...
I never really expected you to do such a thing, for me. The fact that again, for whatever the reason I have Zero on my side once more...
It makes me really happy.

[...wait. What?
It's all he can say, at the moment. Eyes widened, blinking at her. While not entirely incredulous - after all, he had begun to assume it as a possibility, with the way Yuuki approached the subject, as mentioned - it still is at the least a bit surprising to hear.
A lot really did happen. Certainly more than the dealings with the academy and particularly its newest student.
He listens to her in silence even as he begins to mull over what to say in return. "Working towards the same goal," she said... It isn't difficult to put the pieces together, of course. Now that he thinks about it, it's easy to see why he must have taken such actions. In the midst of it all, to hear her laments over the tablets is almost bittersweet, to some degree. They truly can be foul.
It's too easy to tell when you're thirsty. Even here, in Ukiyo, with the jade bracelet. Shouldn't he simply expect it, though? Another part of her that never changed is that heart upon her sleeve...
But he doesn't know what to say. How ironic. Even for as long as we've been sharing blood, here. Heh.
The lingering smile from earlier tugs on his lips again; almost a sad, yet still amused lift. He gives a faint laugh as well. Lightly teasing, perhaps in compliance to the way she's veered the conversation north again, with her warmth. His gaze returns to settle upon hers, calmer.]
... I guess it's not too surprising. [Yes, including the manhandling.] There's a lot to be done, and you're a pain to work with when you're distracted.

Regardless, there's nothing to be done about it, for the time being. She spares a glance toward her door before checking the time. They don't usually check rooms until morning, by this point.]
Do you think you could hold on a moment, Zero?

It's another unexpected question, however, although this one being more random than those before. He blinks. ...?]
Yeah, sure.

Clicking the fansuwoth off, she pulls a light cloak down from upon the wall and wraps the silk, blue material around her petite frame. Another gift from a customer and one she's thankful, for.
Being a vampire has it's advantages...
On silent feet she walks toward her door, opening it up before peeking out. No one, as expected. Her senses, so sharp and sensitive are easy to puck up on the life signs of others. Slipping out of Jisei when needed really has become habit. Silent and swift, she's up and out of Jisei in no time. It's fortunate, she thinks, as she moves quietly through the night, that her destination isn't far.
Upon his doorstep, her hand lifts. Fingers fisting she raps lightly upon the door. It's an unexpected visit...but she's more than sure that Zero will welcome her in.]

Such a fool, though. Sneaking out so often as she does... Of course, that isn't to say he's exactly annoyed by the fact. It'd be a different story if she's caught.
Setting his book down, he slips off the bed and makes his way to answer the door. ]
Trying to surprise me?
[he looks down upon her, lightly amused.]

Not even willing to throw a shirt on to answer the door, hmm.
Though it's just for her. Then again, she has a feeling he wouldn't care even if it was a stranger.
Tossing back her hood, long, mahogany hair spills out in a cascading wave, and her hands find purchase upon the slender curve of her hips. Surprise him, is it?]
I wish I could. You spoil everything, with that sixth sense of yours.

Would you rather I pretend?
[Teasing. His gaze lingers on the cloak she has on, watching the way her hair softly tumbles from its hood.
Stepping back, he holds the door for her to come inside]
Not that you're without such an ability, either...

Heh. [The sound is amused, and she simply smiles] Even so I'm always impressed and troubled by it.

The look he gives is almost incredulous, however, although his reply is less serious. ]
Shouldn't you be more concerned with possibly being punished for leaving your house so late?
[There's nothing wrong with being able to foresee some of her behavior, you know. It's being caught by the house owners that he'd rather her be more aware of, even if they both sneak around more often than they likely should.
Nevertheless, she's here, now, so it's moot. He begins heading back to his room.]

He really is still here. And she hasn't left him alone again. His heart beat, steady and constant, vibrates within her ears. It's a comforting melody. An assurance that he's here right beside her.
I'm so glad, Zero. She's not the one who can leave first. Fingers tightening, her knuckles harden, turned white. Relief flows through her, spreading through the tips of her fingers to her toes.
I didn't leave you again. I came back.]

Just how long was it, for her?
Returning to Ukiyo is overwhelming. After experiencing it for himself, it especially reinstated the differences, stirring up a bittersweet cognizance of what is and what is not, and the reminder of all what he needs to not focus on. ...so, how will it be, for her?
A slight dip of his head. He brings his hands up to cover hers, a thumb softly brushing over her knuckles. ]
Yuuki...
