Seems a lot has happened in a month. [A pause, as he takes the cigarette out of his mouth, after all this was serious.] What do we know about these murders? More importantly, what are the Guards doing about it?

I'd tell you to ask the guy who's been broadcasting his "blog" about the murders, but it looks like someone didn't want him talking. [ Neil does a bit of business in that distract, and the rumors of the doctor's misfortune were hard to miss. ]

Any strange wounds? [Since he'd heard of the murders he'd been looking into them to figure out if vampires were involved or not. Normally, it was easy to detect the signs but in this place, things were a little different.]

[She shakes her head. Of course, without him having to go into detail she knows which sort of wounds he is inquiring over.]

I haven't seen them up close... [Her brows fall and she looks near sick] and I don't want to, either. Not from the descriptions... [After all... Aya was one of the murdered, wasn't she...]

Those are not the sort of wounds it sounds as though any of the victims suffered, though. Unless it's went unreported.

[He nods understanding her answer. So, vampires weren't involved... he'd give her the benefit of the doubt, after all, he doubted she knew how to lie properly, yet.]

Amidst the a banter of how apprehensive he still feels over the fact that another Kuran (and far from the one he might have expected to show) was present, and the sort-of wayward irritation it instills, there sits a small bout of surprise.

What the hell have you been doing? A whole month, and not a word? Maybe he was sent to that farm...

It's Kuran. ...Yuuki's mother, Juri Kuran, arrived in Ukiyo approximately one week ago.

[OOC: Just a heads-up, but... It's been a few days since, but game-wise, in their thread, presently, Zero and Juri have only just exchanged names. So, for this thread, Zero may be vague, but only because I don't want to assume too much, aside from the info Zero learned from Yuuki a while back during a truth spell.]

[Smoke billows from his person as he takes in the news, his mind recalling all he knew about that infamous Pureblood line. He knew of her--suicide the bloodsuckers had called it, the Hunters hadn't been much involved in that case considering it hadn't crossed into their territory, no humans were involved after all, but still...]

What House is she in?

[He could easily get the information himself, but it was easier to get it from a source he trusted, and he did trust Zero no matter how involved he'd gotten with that particular line of Purebloods.]

[OOC: No problem! I have no idea how much Yagari knows of Juri. We know Cross knew her, and we know the two Hunters know quite a bit about each other, but we don't know just how much, or if Cross ever let slip his encounter with Juri. Will be vague myself!]
