Be seen. Be heard.
We were wandering the streets of Vallejo CA with some friends, and there was this cool sidewalk art project (near a community center I think). My friend Marcus was standing next to me as our shadows fell across the word "hear." Impulsively, I grabbed his hand and snapped a shot. This was during the time of Prop 8 uncertainty, and what's been going through my head through all the gay marriage uproar is that we all have to do our part to be seen and heard. Those folks who think they don't know any gay people need to know differently.
We are everywhere. Be out. Be proud. Be seen. Be heard.
