I forgot to blog about the Sunday of AWA, basically, awkward bye byes and hanging out in Dave's room trying to polish off the left over booze and drawing
fanart.
So the REAL topic. Last weekend Natalie, Dad, Sadie (half-sister), and I drove up to North Carolina for Josh(brother)'s Wedding. In some odd twist of fate they picked November 12th which was my parent's wedding anniversary, they've been divorced close to 15 years now. Josh was utterly clueless of the fact until he told mom or dad about it.
Anyway, Thursday I picked up a rental SUV, loaded it up with our luggage and picked up Rita from her dad's. We then dropped off Natalie at UNO for her Thursday night class. While Natalie was in class I took Rita home, fed her in the car kinda (her dad likes to play this game called "get offended if you ask if he fed her" so I have no idea if she needs dinner or not), then gave her a bath and headed back to UNO to get Natalie. After that we stopped by Lacombe and got Dad and Sadie then off to North Carolina (this was around 9pm).
After listening to music and a little bit of my audio book we made it to North Carolina at around 10am. We hung out at Josh's and I took a small nap. til 3pm when we could check into the hotel. After checking in to the Microtel Inn® we went to Josh's wedding rehearsal. Then we went to Walmart for like 80 hours to buy food for the reception.
The next day we did the wedding. Dad had to get a haircut, so we looked for a haircut place, but all we could find as a hair salon for black women. That was pretty weird.
So we went to the wedding it was nice, as the best man I hardly did a thing. The reception was basically dinner since it was dry (lol North Carolina). Rita made best friends with Kenny's kid Landon. After that we went back to Josh's and hung out and drank beer watched the LSU game, and played with fire.
The next day we loaded up the rental and drove back. Luckily I had the Saint's vs Falcons game to listen to on the radio.
I originally wanted to make a bigger post, but I forgot to finish it up. Oh well.
