That was a short entry. I'm going to make it longer.
Had fun in psychology with Nicole. As always.
Mary was in a chipper mood today = fun. Nice talking to her, even if briefly.
In Theory of Knowledge, we watched a movie on beauty. A lot of specialists talked about the famous 1:1.168 ratio, etc., but I mostly agreed with Elizabeth Hurley's answer: "bollocks." My feeling is, really guys, do we have to take everything sacred and explain it using an intellectual construct that, albiet extraordinarily important in day to day life, ultimately has its grand limitations, and a severe ability to sap the sentiment out of positively everything? The way I see it, a person's perception of beauty is not ultimatley defined by a mathmatical ratio-- it may be on occasion, or even most of the time, but certainly never all of the time. I can measure my left fucking toe, and I bet it would have some mathmatical correlation to my nose, and that same ratio would apply to any other two given body parts of mine (in fact, I know it would-- that's how mathmatics work). Doesn't mean I'm percieved a certain way. My two cents.
Damn the man and all that: the security guard at my off-period kept yelling at me and Kim to move. I know he's just doing his job, but I'm pissed at the rule itself-- are we disturbing anything? Ya'no.
Fucked around in Context today-- pissed some of the "too- cool-for-blithly-loud-social-interaction" kids off, but we didn't care. I felt good not being morbid, or at least, numb, for once. So we walked out of Context throwing paper ninja-stars and laughing and jerking around and shit like that. Eloquent, no? It reminded me of the 7th floor at CU. Just fuckin everybody crammed into Ben's room, doing whatever, and being loud. Word.
Play kicked mondo ass. MJ and Danny as the butlers fucking KILLED. Stole the show. Gabe and Dan R. did astoudning jobs. Props to Jenny.
Harry Potter tomorrow at 7 pm, baby. I'm jazzed.
