I was talking to the wonderful Ms. M. last night on yahoo messenger (also known as
nyte_song about how bored she was yesterday and how no one was updating.
I've not done a serious update in sometime largely because my computer has been down, and now that I have it back I've been sending a lot of time on Second Life. For those of you that are not sure what www.secondlife.com is, it is a virtual world very similar to the Sims or other environments. However it can be very adult or very silly, depending on how you want to "play" and who wants to play with you.
For example, yesterday I was involved in a game show, a trial, recieved a tour of a Gorean city and went to a dance where the ladies all turned into dragons as the night wore on. I went from being an over 6 foot tall human to a small - just barely above 3 foot tall - fox like creature as the night wore on.
All this has me thinking about why people want to escape reality.
We all need to escape, and we all do it in different ways. For some of us it's books about wizards, for others bondage gear, and still others the computer based world of second life.
polylizzy told me once that she feels that she is turning into the Lawnmower man (if you understand that reference your a big geek).
My escape from the world is here in Grove City. I have been coming up here every weekend now for a while, and it feels like home. Spending time with Sue and her kin. The house in which they live is considered mine as well.
I will be seeing her in a few minutes. Picking her up from her job, taking her home and making love to her. Although I think she will also get a good spanking. I'm funny that way.
Hopefully
