Everything Is Bitter Tea
I'm hitting the road again tomorrow. In the past, I have always midjudged the distance to Oregon. I think my thoughts have been something like "8 hours?? Whatever. I just drove two days!! This will be a cake walk!" and then it takes forever and I get pissed. So this should only take like two days through California and I just had a week's rest after driving two and a half days through the boring-ass Midwest so this will be a cake walk!
Also, for the last, like, two hours or so of my journey, I won't be alone!!* My buddy Drew will be in Eugene this weekend and was looking for a way back to Portland and, for once, the universe smiled on the idea of Drew and I hanging out. We can swap manly stories and see how much we still have in common... I'm betting not as much as we'd both like to pretend.

*I haven't really been alone this whole time what with texting calling ppl bc texting+driving=illegal, singing along/learning ALL the lyrics to Rebel Yellow, and making awkward eye contact with other drivers.
