All the Sabotage and Blame
I kind of want to see Planet 51 in the same way I kind of want to get married and have a kid. I also have yet to make it to Where the Wild Things Are... someone was telling me that I should go see it because Arcade Fire does the music. I feel like there are better reasons to see it than that... and I would prefer, like, Johnny Greenwood doing the soundtrack. They didn't ask me, though.
I'm in the process of figuring out how I want to get back to the Oregon area for Christmas and, possibly, New Year's, Martin Luther King jr. Day, Valentine's Day, etc. If I'm going to be back there for an extended period, I'd really like to take my car. On the other hand, I might have waited too long to take the direct route back* so I'd be looking at a honeymoon scale road trip in November... I could have planned this better. Part of me wants to pack up some clothes, my guitar, and a few of the more sentimental items I've acquired and just hit the road tomorrow. Buuuuut that would be kind of a dick-move given my existing plans for at least the next week. Also, I kind of want to be around for the Doomtree Blowout. Yeah, I've totally got my priorities straight.
