a man after my own heart. after a lackluster bird at the relative's house this year, i'm seriously considering picking up a small bird and doing it right here at home. i'm a leftovers person myself. how do you like your leftovers best?

I'm freezing the turkey legs, and one of the breasts, so that should give us something tasty to munch on a couple of months from now. (one of the nice things about this recipe is that the meat does freeze well)

Everything else fits nicely on the big oval-shaped platter I inherited from some relative countless aeons ago, so there'll be plenty of light and dark meat for snackin' and sammich makin' for the rest of this week. (assuming I don't eat it all before Al gets here)

you're welcome to try eating it all in three days. But don't come cryin' to me if you make yourself ill.
I'll bring lasagna fixings, because by then you may well want something that (heaven forbid!) isn't turkey.

Yeah, that's it... I've got to make room in the fridge for all that lasagna. Yeah...

See, I'm doing the world a valuable public service, by ridding it of space-taking turkey flesh.
