"It's just one of those days where you're the spit-key on the trombone of life, eh?"

In a baffling turn of events, I got offered a job at Java Jacks - again. I would almost say that it's fated to be, since I've just begun looking for a job that's both closer to home and easily accessible by bus. In the end I'd be making about the same amount (8.50+tips vs. 9.25), working close to the same hours (18 or so hours Thurs.-Sat.), and not spending nearly as much on booze every week.

The only thing holding me back is that this would be my fourth tour at the shop, and I'm a little leery of reliving my past yet again. Also, the owner is a bit of a moron (if a well-meaning one, at least). I have until Thursday. Advice or commentary is, as always, welcome.

Go see "Children of Men" when you get the chance. I think it's some of Cuaron's best work and a great film besides. I ended up laughing out loud at the most inappropriate times, though. *shrug*

It's back to the U tomorrow - put another semester on the clock. Only three full to go...
