Fun time last night. Sat at the house with Matt (one of the housemates) and he started belting out "MAMA WAS A VEGETABLE< DADDY WAS FRUUUUIIIITTT!!!" at this part in Carnivale when a kid calls this lady a turnip. Anyways, by the time we finished smoking our next cigarette, I had it all figured out and started playing the chord progression. I promise I'll post the lyrics when they're finished, but you need to hear it with guitar to get the full effect. I just enjoyed it immensly because I love to write music but hate writing lyrics. Now the lyrics have become a collaboration which I don't mind as much because it's getting started that kills me. Then we played the first verse for Scott (other housemate) and the silent shaking of his head made it all worth it.
