hot tea and a melted azure slipper
yesterday i attended my friend's birthday lunch at "imperial dynasty"(oooh- ahhh) it is a chinese restaurant and i ended up sitting next to mrs. alper- she loves tea. all eight of us girls were discussing which crazy entree we will devour later in the course of the meal when all of a sudden i hear this CRASHING noise behind me- apparently the waitress had dropped the tray with about four or five teacups on it. but SECONDS LATER i felt this melting sensation scorch down my back. my eyes grew wide and teary and my mouth opened really really wide but no sound came out. i then knew: the boiling pot of tea had been dropped on my back. the manager of the store ran over repeating "aw yoo oh kay? eet hott? you bunn back? oh no oh no oh no!!!!" so long story short, the waitress traded tables with another waitor and i "enjoyed" my moo goo gai pan with paper towels stuffed down my shirt and this brown menthol aloe junk rubbed on my shoulder. it was pretty serious- im thinking about suing them, you know, so that maybe ill get enough money to cover a hub cap or a new front bumper and right light... no not really.
i have a history project due on the infamous frederic chopin tomorrow morning at 7:35. havent quite finished it... but i figure ill do fine- im playing a piece by him which is around 10 minutes long so i figure if i play long enough i will run out of time for the rest of the presentation. oh well. im good at bullshitting and my teacher likes me- in a pedafile kinda way- its nasty. but my poster looks cool! i xeroxed a bunch of sheet music then burned the edges and top to make them look antique- but the smoke and fumes werent very pleasant while dealing with the fire, especially since im sick with a head cold. i almost burned a hole my moms slipper too. one of my fires got out of control and i couldnt put it out and the flame wasnt getting to the point where if i blew on it, it would only get bigger.... so i reached over and beat it out with my moms azure bedslipper. the rubber sole's alittle defunctified in a few places, but its not like she wears them anywhere but to bed- how else would they get worn in if she never wears them outside or around places! oh well i should get back to my project
