Alice dress
Here are some photos of my new design inspired by Alice Liddell (the girl from Alice's adventures in wonderland and Alice through the looking glass.) As embellishments, I used yo-yo appliques and handsmocking. Yeah, the whole bodice is all hand pleated and hand smocked. Phew. A lot of work basically. Some photos are bigger in order to show the detail of the smocking. The accordian sleeves almost gave me a stroke from the frustration of trying to get something 12 inches in diameter through something 2 inches in diameter. Let me know what you think!
