Indian food my arse... The Tiffin Room @ Raffles

Yesterday's dinner was a record! It was the worst dining experience I've ever had in an Indian restaurant. To think Tiffin Room, of all restaurants,.... in Raffles Hotel, of all places, is just overhyped and deserves only 1 star out of 5 (or maybe even out of 10)..... now that's bad! When the friend from England (national dish: Curry!!) invited me to join him and another friend for dinner I just had to pass him the comment "You have very expensive and high class taste". We found out that there is nothing high class about paying $55 per person for bad food (and it was buffet!) which isn't even Indian-proper in the first place. Even the good service... yes service was very good,... didn't make up for it. I did enjoy dessert though. But then that could be due to the fact that some of the badly cooked up dishes were masked by all that sugary sweetness! *licks lips*

Indian food worth the price you pay: Shahi Maharani, Rang Mahal, Bukhara.....
