Dammit! My fucking PC has been giving me problems this past week. Just cannot deal with it anymore. Problem surfing, constantly hangs! It’s screaming for a clean up!! Thank gawd a friend has offered to help me reformat and reinstall everything back into my PC. So that’s why I’ve been incommunicado or just very sporadic in my replies to emails and messages through the internet. Everything SHOULD be alright by tomorrow evening…. I hope!
The past week has been good though boring at times. What’s new eh?! Anyways it goes like this……………
Scrabble sessions at gator_’s,
Indian dinner at Iniavan’s (there was meat) and drinks at Ice Cold Beer and lots of Barcadi Breezers (yummy), and Babra (let’s scream now… peeeeeppohhll, peeeepol who need peeeepol…) wz gator_ and f16skyhawk,
T’ang Quartet in concert at Esplanade (*applaud*),
dinner at Marche (love Rosti),
art exhibition by Amit Ambalal (way too abstract, I need symmetry! Where’s da symmetry mister?)
watched the very visually stunning animated French movie Les Triplettes De Belleville on DVD,
wished my Malayali friend Happy Onam (got invited for the vegetarian dinner but cud not make it. Sorry! BTW this is also NOT a new year!),
read about 200 pages of the so-far-very-interesting-and-exciting Angels and Demons,
very nice dinner with tarzansg, badnomad, discoecstacy etc,
met lyph, photog75 etc for a very unproductive meeting to try n help our sporty sis n bros n still getting nowhere,
been listening to Beck and Damien Rice quite a bit, 99.5fm seems to be falling short on my standards (what say u badnomad?)!
watched 5 episodes of Six Feet Under Season 4 (Lisa’s dead and single dad Nate’s Jaded with life, Ruth has remarried and still wierdly abnormal n irritating, David n car got bashed up, carjacked, robbed of $400, made to smoke crack, nearly shot thru the mouth... and still wz Keith (yay!), Claire’s become jaded with love n still rebellious, very artistic but seemingly more matured and still on something, ultra Catholic Rico went to a strip club, Brenda’s found someone new but of course her middle name’s still Confusion!),
work still kills with boredom,
been eating lots of mooncakes (still!)
Today watching The Myth with my JC mates (married with kids n boring as hell...help me!)
and wondering how come I’m still 64 when I’ve not been to the gym in more than 4 weeks and gravitational pull of planet earth is taking it’s toll (I have an excuse ok.. bah!)!
