Summer of Cicadas
Work is just the same as it always was, except it's a summer of cicadas. Constantly in the background you hear this buzz, a drone of cicadas. The most annoying part is they keep landing on me and they freak me the fuck out. I'm not the most girly of girls, but large red eyes buzzing insects, excuse me for being girly and freaking out. I seem to attract them too. I have no idea why, there are plenty of good trees around me and fence and yet, I'm the thing they decide to land on. Grrr on them. I hates them. Annoying buggers.
So, I haven't been updating everyday, because not everyday do I have something interesting to tell you about. Today, though, I do. Last night, I went down to Bartlett for a movie night with my friend Sean. It was a good time. We watched 1776 and ate pizza and cracked jokes. Just as I was leaving, his friend Katie showed up, but I had to get to work today so I couldn't stay. The guy who delivered the pizza was a friend of mine in high school, it was weird to see him again like that. Like, that's not how you expect to reunite with your high school friend, lol.
