CTA, How I Loathe Thee.
So, my morning started off pretty good. I got to sleep in, had a nice bath, and got my stuff together to go home. My Dad drove me to the train and while it was crowded and kinda loud I get a nap anyway. And the walk through the city was pleasant because of the weather.
Then I get to the El and it all goes downhill from there. Northbound Red Line trains are closed. Completely. They even have the little card slots covered so people don't go in. So, I grab the 147 bus, which is basically the Red Line in bus form. Of course, the city is crazy packed today and Lake Shore Drive, LSD, is jammed with traffic, so it took forever to get to school.
I can forget the transit troubles, really. It's part of commuting, but you know what really pisses me off? On Friday when I left the sink was full of dishes. I expected my roommates to do the not disgusting thing and wash them this weekend. Whoo boy was I wrong. Now there are even more dishes! GRAH! Not what I want to come home to after a hellish commute.
I hate school. Thank God I've one got two weeks left.
