(no subject)
Holy cow, it's been forever since I've updated. So, um, to recap. . .
1) Hurricane Rita came through, but the damage wasn't that bad. A few places in the Strand were hit really hard, but campus was fine. We came back to school that next Thursday, so I had about a weeklong break. I spent the first part at Greg's apartment in Huntsville, then I went back to CS to stay with Mama and la familia.
2) I don't think I've mentioned this, but I'm in the TAMUG Drama Club production of "A Tomb With a View." It's a comedy-thriller murder mystery thing, like Clue: The Movie. I play Dora Tomb, a wacky old lady who poisons people with her homemade wines and then buries them in the rose gardens. Fun times. Performances are November 17, 18, and 19, at 7:00, in CLB 100 (the auditorium). Be there, bitches! Wheeee!
3) My ickle baby sister went to her first ever high school formal this past weekend! zomg! Mom sent me a picture and omg, she looked so pretty. It's weird to see silly, spastic, athletic Rachel with her hair done up and in heels and everything.
4) Mr. TAMUG is tonight at 9:00, and although I'm not competing (duh), I told John I'd be his dance partner for a swing routine he wants to do for his talent. We choreograped about half of it last night, and we're gonna finish tonight. He taught me how to do some aerials, and omg, they're so much fun. can't wait till tonight.
5) After mourning Arkanoid for a respectable amount of time, I got new fish. I have two guppies and a snail. The gups are named Adam and Gary (you get a cookie if you catch the reference) and teh snail is called Slimer. They live on my desk, so I can watch them and zone out while I'm supposed to be studying, and they're very cute. And also incredibly gay for each other.
6) I have a five page paper due next week that I'm going to write about Daily Show. hee!
7) I'm alone at work, and I'm bored, so here's some stuff that I'm amusing myself with and I thought ya'll would appreciate.

Sweet Jesus, Hermione's dress is hideous. Seriously, costume designers? WHAT were you thinking? Cho looks hot. Cedric looks hot. Viktor looks hot. Hermione? Looks like the eighties threw up on her. Yuck.
