Total Cost: more than I want to admit...but maybe our renter's insurance will cover some of it...
But I will be one of the first people to own a new MacBook Pro - that's super exciting. (ps - thank you Jon for the advice...not that I remember the whole conversation...I was asleep for part of it. :) And I have a chance to start over now that I'm used to the Mac system. Now I have to remember all the things that Jon or I put on my computer that I used and find a way to replace them (Word for Mac, Adobe Photoshop, MacFlac, VLM [?], MacShorten, Tomato Torrent, entire seasons of South Park/ATHF, tons of Dave shows...).
I also replaced my canvas bag and AE belt yesterday. That just leaves a few books to replace and I'll have made up for the entire loss.
And these things will be insured. At least I've learned that.
