I have been busy busy busy. I think I finally get to relax some. My dad and I went to look at apartments yesterday. I fell in love with the first one I saw. It was the cheapest I've seen so far. We're going to go look at more today and maybe by the end of the day I'll get that one if I don't see anything better. My dad even said that it just screams Gussie. The good thing about this one is that I won't be able to move in until mid-July, so that will allow me to save up. My dad loves it. My mom thinks it's a good idea of what we've been telling her. And since it's a good deal for down here, we're going to grab it while we can and they may have to help me for the first month or two. It's really close to work, like walking distance if there wasn't a big road in between. Walking distance to the grocery store. Walgreens or something in walking distance too. So, I won't be using that much gas to get around for the essential things. Ryan's friend that he always hangs out with lives in those apartments too, so I wouldn't even have to drive to go hang out with him and his buddies. I really just want to go grab that apartment right now, but I'm trying my best to be a big girl and look at my other options. I only saw two yesterday but went to 3. The one that I didn't see had a deal that if you look at the apartment and apply for it that same day, then you get a free washer and dryer to use. So, we saved that just incase. The one that I want is very spacious. It has a solarium instead of a patio which will add more space. If I want to go outside, I'll just go to the pool. Oh another great thing about that one is. I'll get a $99 dollar fee waived because I'll be an employee at Gulf Coast Hospital. The application fee is $125, so if it doesn't work out, I'll just be out of that much...which my parents are paying for, for my bday present! I don't want anything, but help with moving. It's their idea that we could be out of $125. Also, if for some reason I can't pass the NCLEX and have to move back home, it's only a months rent to break the lease and my parents are fine with that. Like I said, it's my parents idea about going ahead and getting it, if I can't find anything else I like or anything nice and cheap, and paying money if it doesn't work out. So....we'll see! I'm ecstatic about starting a new job and possibly moving into an apartment!! I still can't believe it! Sorry for all the updates, just I have to talk about it somewhere and it's exciting for me!
