lets talk about it.

so two days ago, i met with aidan and gabby, we had bubble tea, caught up, and gabby went home as i went with aidan (and aidan's mother) to see Rent. it was a lot better than the first time i saw it, and one of these days i have to download the music from it. so then we went to aidan's hotel (the pennsylvania) where we watched halloween 4 while eating m&ms and being amazed at the sheer size of the room. it was huge. then we discovered my ipod was frozen, so i decided to wait it out and see if it would unfreeze. at 6:30pm, i took the train down to the Brooklyn Arts Exchange where i was dan fishback's stagehand (oy, what i wont do for dan fishback.) and he wouldnt tell me what my job was going to be.

okay. first, there was part 1 of an AMAZING documentary about gay marriage ("Say I Do"), then there was a one-woman short skit about working in a photo gallery for newly-wedded lesbians (she was very bitter about the whole thing), and then a short musical about two girls that fall in love (andi, you should have seen it.) then, intermission, and then, dan went on. it was a comedic (of course) thing that started with his bit about "I don't just want gay marriage. I want the government to find me a fucking boyfriend. I want Gay Marriage Affirmative Action!" and it went on into... something else, and he put on a wedding dress and eventually said "I met a boy on the subway..." and looks at me. So I go up there, and he says "Okay, I'm going to guess your name, and everything about you, and you're not going to say anything, you're just going to tell me at the end if I'm right." and he says my name is thomas, and im from westchester, and that i went through a whole thing with some girl and now im lonely, or something... and he said at the end "so was i right?" and the lights went off. it was classic dan fishback, really great. so then there was Part II of the movie, and at the end there was going to be a Q&A, but they wanted to give us time to get home safe. Aww, lesbians are so nice.

So, i got through the snow towards the station, when a bunch of kids in the street asked if i wanted to play football with them. i ignored them and kept walking, but they kept calling after me, and i kept going cause i still thought they were kidding. i felt bad about it later. so i get to the station (4th st 9th ave on the F/G/R) and wait for the R, and after 20 minutes we hear "Attention: there are no trains running." so, i go to the F and take that to Ave N, which is 20 blocks from my house, so i walked home from there. it was a beautiful walk, and i really loved it. i got home, and discovered that my ipod was still frozen, and nothing would wake it up. i have to go to apple, i think. and so then i watched snl, and had to go to sleep because the next day i was supposed to visit chris at his new apartment in manhattan.

it didnt happen. i apparently misjudged my sleeping abilities, and slept 16 hours. great. i also remembered that i had the SATs on saturday and of course i missed them.

so its monday morning, and i have to go to apple, go see chris, and something else (edit: call the SAT people) because my mind apparently cant remember everything at once. damn.

so if you want to hang out in the snow while its still here, call me. 9177531530.

and if we have things to talk about, talk with me. im going to sleep and waking up in a couple hours (making sure this time) and checking the cell to see if anything's happening. then ill probably go back to sleep and wake up in two hour intervals until something happens. see you all then.
